Description
Lyndon B. Johnson Bronze Medallion Presented to and Originally from the Personal Collection of Astronaut James A. McDivitt. A 3" heavyweight bronze medallion in its original box with a Gilroy Roberts portrait of LBJ on the obverse and the presidential seal on the reverse. This was given to McDivitt after his Gemini 4 flight in which crewmate Ed White performed the first American space walk. Excellent condition.Included with this lot is a signed Letter of Certification from McDivitt: "I certify that this LBJ bronze medallion was given to me personally by President Johnson and is from my personal collection."
