Description
Apollo 14 Flown American Flag Directly from the Personal Collection of Mission Lunar Module Pilot Edgar Mitchell, Signed and Certified. This 6.125" x 3.875" silk U.S. flag was carried aboard Apollo 14, the third successful moon landing mission, with crewmembers Alan Shepard, Edgar Mitchell, and Stuart Roosa, January 31-February 9, 1971. Dr. Mitchell has certified this flag on the two bottom white stripes: "Flown into Lunar Orbit Aboard/ KittyHawk on Apollo 14 Edgar Mitchell". Excellent condition.Auction Info
