United Confederate Veterans "Ain't It Hell to Be Poor" Watch Fob.Measures 36 mm; A bronze UCV reunion watch fob featuring a bust of General Robert E. Lee with the inscription "United Confederate Veterans Reunion" around the border. The reverse bears the sardonic motto "Ain't It Hell to Be Poor" within ornamental flourishes. Retains its original suspension chain and bar. These novelty fobs were produced for Confederate veteran reunions in the early 20th century and reflect the camaraderie and humor shared among aging veterans of the Civil War.
Condition: Very good.
