Description
Group of Seven GAR and Related Insignia, Medals and Badges.Including: 1) 12th Indiana Volunteer Infantry "We Drank From the Same Canteen" souvenir. 2 1/4-inches in diameter. Felt over metal. Retains partial cork and string lanyard. 2) GAR hat wreath, stamped brass wreath with stamped white metal letters, pinback. 2 1/4 x 1 3/4-inches. 3) GAR veteran medal numbered B68299. 4) GAR postcard with colorful GAR veteran's medal stamped on the recto. Unused. 5) Department of Massachusetts GAR "Bean Pot" badge. 1 x 1 1/2-inches. Pinback. 6) Ground dug or poorly stored GAR veteran's medal. No ribbon. 7) Unidentified bronze medal featuring a kneeling soldier shooting on the obverse and a panoply of arms on reverse. 35 mm.
Condition: 1) Retains about 80% of the felt covering, otherwise good condition. 2) Very good. 3) Ribbon is fragile and about to split, otherwise good condition. 4) Very good. 5) Very good. 6) Poor. 7) Very good.
