Description
Engraved Ward & Sons Double Barrel Percussion Shotgun.Unserialized, 12-gauge, 30-inch damascus barrels with fixed front bead sight. Top of barrel marked: WARD & SONS 1 BASINGHALL STREET LONDON E.C. Elaborately scroll engraved receiver, hammers, upper tang, triggerguard and butt. Case-hardened receiver marked WARD on each side. Dual triggers. Checkered walnut straight stock and splinter fore-end. Brass oval escutcheon to base of stock. Length of pull: 14 1/2-inches. Weight: 8-ponds.

Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Some vibrant case colors remaining. Left side firing pin absent.
