Beautiful British No. 4 Mk I* Enfield Manufactured by Savage 1942 With South African Property Marks.

Serial no. 34C2761, .303 caliber, 24 ½-inch barrel with adjustable rear and fixed front sights. Blued finish (has an almost Parkerized look). All component parts marked with Savage "S" including the bolt, barrel bands, sights, stock and magazine. Matching serial numbers on the bolt and butt socket. Left side of receiver marked "U.S. PROPERTY" and "No. 4 Mk I*". Very faint ".303 Brit" import stamp on the left side of the receiver. Top of receiver stamped with the Broad Arrow/U South African property mark. Left side of wrist socket marked "34C2761 / S / 1942". Left side of receiver marked "No. 4 Mk I*". Aluminum butt plate. Fitted with an original 1943 dated web sling. Looks to be in almost unissued condition.

Condition: Excellent. Almost 100% finish remaining. A tiny amount of loss on the bottom of the butt trap door. Modest storage dents and dings on the stock. Bright bore.
