Description
Chinese Boxer Rebellion Qing Dynasty Hand Flag, Circa 1900.Silk, approximately 5 ½ x 4 ¾-inches, mounted to a 12 ½-inch wooden stick. The flag features a printed purple dragon chasing a red ball. Comes with provenance from The Heritage Foundation indicating the flag was donated by noted collector Dr. Clarence Rungee.
Condition: The silk is quite fragile and there are tears and some loss to the top edge. Still, an historic flag in fair condition.
