Spanish-American War: Two Numbered Navy Philippine Campaign Medals.Includes: 1) Navy Philippine Campaign Medal, 33-mm bronze planchet with half-wrap brooch numbered 315 on the rim. The number corresponds to that awarded to Captain Arthur Crenshaw who was aboard the USS Maine when it blew up. He received a Navy Cross in WW1. 2) Navy Philippine Campaign Medal, 33-mm bronze planchet with half-wrap brooch numbered 2423 on the rim.
