Description
Italian Brescia 1879 VV70 Bolt Action Rifle with Bayonet.Serial no. 6501, 6.5mm caliber, 34 3/4-inch barrel with fixed front sight, bayonet lug and adjustable rear sight. Blued finish. Various Italian proof marks. Smooth hardwood full-stock with sling swivels. MP/8 (flaming bomb proof stamped to right side of stock. Metal cleaning rod and buttplate. 20-inch bayonet with hardwood grip panels.
Condition: Very good as refinished. Overall showing signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Scattered scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action good. Strong bore. From the Sylver Schaller Collection.
