Description
Lot of Two Colt Reissue Black Powder Series 1851 Navy Percussion Revolvers.Serial no's. 10962 and 2557 [barrel, frame, triggerguard and cylinder], .36 calibers, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrels with fixed front sight. Blued and case-hardened finishes. Etched cylinder scenes. COLTS / PATENT to left side of frames. Smooth walnut one-piece grips. Serial number 2557, is a Ulysses S. Grant Commemorative.
Condition: Very good. Each retaining 95% plus finish with very light handling wear and a few very fine spots of pitting. Actions tight, but function. Bright bores. From the Collection of James Schubert.
