Description

Victorian Cup Hilt Rapier.

Approximately 42-inches overall with a 33-inch double edge blade. Etched wrought iron cup hilt with folded border to edge. Wire wrapped with pommel cap. Straight quillons with flared ends. Condition: Fair to good with age wear and pitting throughout blade and cup. Fine scratches present to metal underneath. Heavy nicotine stains overall [with possible traces of lacquering], should clean some. Crude metal and some pitting inside hilt. Overall construction needs a bit of tightening.
