Description
Winchester Model 61 Slide Action Rifle.Serial no. 38659, .22 caliber, 24-inch round barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Smooth walnut pistolgrip stock and grooved 6 1/2-inch fore-end. Checkered steel buttplate. Manufactured in 1939.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 92-95% finish with handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Wood showing scattered scuffs, scratches and dings. Action crisp. Bright bore.
