WWII Philippine Campaign: RESTRICTED Joint Intelligence Center Pacific Ocean Areas Restricted Air Target Maps and Photos ATF No. 107-A The Visayas and Palawan, July 1, 1944. Measuring approximately 8 ½ x 8 ½-inches, printed paper front wrapper, 39 pages of maps and aerial photographs. Produced by the Joint Intelligence Center Pacific Ocean Area (JICPOA) in the lead up to the invasion of the Philippine Islands, the document contains approximately 23 maps and charts, and 18 photographs, 6 of them on photographic paper. The lot also includes a 17 x 21-inch lithograph map titled Philippine Islands Air Field Status Map. The map was prepared by the Intelligence Sections Commander Support Aircraft and Commander Third Amphibious Force. The map locates primary, secondary, and emergency airfields and the reverse of the map has a list of the airfields and their coordinates.

Condition: Very good. An area of water staining on the lower edge of the front wrapper and affecting the first few pages; some raggedness along the edges. The map has fold creases and some toning at those folds but is in otherwise very good condition.
