U.S. Springfield 1827 Cone Conversion to Percussion Rifle.

Unserialized, .69 caliber, 42-inch barrel with fixed front sight. P / (eagle head) / V proof marks to left side of barrel. Lock marked: SPRING / FIELD / 1827 and (eagle) / U.S. Smooth hardwood straight stock with two barrel bands and sling swivels. Metal ramrod, triggerguard and US stamped buttplate.

Condition: Good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear, age and pitting. Noticeable dings, scuffs and bruising present to wood. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
