Description
Engraved English Webley & Scott SXS Double Barrel Shotgun.Serial no. 139248 [fore-end, receiver and lower tang], 20 gauge, 26-inch barrels with smooth rib and fixed front bead sight. Top of barrels marked: WEBLEY & SCOTT / BIRMINGHAM. Elaborately scroll engraved receiver, lever and triggerguard. WEBLEY & SCOTT marked to each side of the receiver. Dual triggers. Checkered walnut straight stock and splinter fore-end. Blank silver oval escutcheon to base of stock. Checkered butt. Length of pull: 14 3/4-inches. Weight: 5-pounds, 8-ounces.
Condition: Very good to excellent. Overall showing very light handling wear. Some scattered scratches present to wood. Action good. Bright bores.
