Description
BRNO Czech Manufactured German DOU . 45 Model 98 Bolt Action Rifle.Serial no. 9475, 8mm caliber, 24 1/2-inch barrel with standard military sights. Blued finish. Right sidewall of receiver marked with the Brno Czechoslovakia maker's information. Late-war hardwood stock with two late-style barrel bands, bayonet lug, no provision for a cleaning rod and cupped steel buttplate. Large trigger guard.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 92-94% finish with some light thinning to relief edges, handling wear and fine spots of pitting. Scuffs and dings scattered to wood. Action crisp. Bright bore.
