Colt Model 1860 Army Percussion Revolver.

Serial no. 142037 [barrel, frame, triggerguard and butt] and 2037 [cylinder], .44 caliber, 8-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Case-hardened hammer and lever. One-line Colt address to top of barrel. COLT'S / PATENT stamped to left side of frame. Letter D to right side of barrel. C stamped to brass frontstrap, just behind triggerguard. Smooth walnut one-piece grip, faint cartouche to left side. Manufactured in 1863.

Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a clean grey patina with areas of handling wear and patches of pitting. Please note: both sides of brass triggerguard plate area appear slightly bent where they meet the frame. Few noticeable scuffs present to wood. Action good. Pitted bore.
