Description
Scarce Colt Commando Model Double Action Revolver.Serial no. 10884 [frame and crane], .38 special caliber, rare 2-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued finish. Checkered Coltwood grip panels with embossed Rampant Colt logo.
Note: This model was only manufactured from 1942-1943. Left side of barrel marked COLT COMMANDO / 38 SPECIAL.
Condition: Fine. Retaining approximately 94-96% finish with some light thinning to relief edges, minor handling wear and tracking line to cylinder. Scuffs to backstrap. Crisp action. Strong bore. Nelson A. Faerber Collection.
