Description
Colt Buntline Special Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 133466 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .44 caliber, 12-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Nickel-plated finish. Three-line, three-date patent to left side of frame. Triggerbow stamped .44 CAL. Top of barrel stamped: COLTS PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. Checkered factory hard rubber grip panels.
Condition: Very good as configured and refinished. Overall showing scattered signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Tracking line to cylinder. Scuffs, dings and checker smoothing present to grips. Action good. Lightly pitted bore. Nelson A. Faerber Collection.
