Description
Factory Engraved Merwin & Hulbert Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 9747 [butt], .44 caliber, 5-inch barrel with fixed front custom sight. Nickel-plated finish. Elaborately scroll engraved frame cylinder and barrel, eagle to left side of frame. Case-hardened hammer. Smooth grip panels. Lanyard ring.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 40-50% finish with some areas of thinning, handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Barrel has been shortened. Large crack through each grip panel. Front sight slightly bent. Action functions. Moderately pitted bore.
