Civil War: Large Group of Seven Images of Armed Union Soldiers and a Drummer Boy.

Includes: 1) 9th plate tintype of an unidentified drummer boy. The young boy is posed standing in uniform with his drum. His mess cup can be clearly seen attached to his belt. Housed under glass in an embossed leather case. The lid has become detached from the base. 2) 6th plate ambrotype bust portrait of an unidentified Union soldier. Housed under glass with a patriotic-themed brass mat in a "Union and Constitution" Union case (Krainik 110). 3) 9th plate ambrotype of a Union soldier holding his revolver across his chest. Housed under glass in an embossed leather case. 4) 9th plate tintype of a seated Union soldier with his revolver tucked in his belt. Housed under glass in an embossed leather case. 5) 9th plate tintype of a young Union soldier in wearing an overcoat and holding what appears to be a private purchase revolver. Housed under glass in a scroll-design Union case. 6) 6th plate tintype of Union soldier holding an 1860 cavalry saber and with a revolver tucked in his belt. Housed under glass in an embossed leather case. 7) 6th plate tintype (Carte de Visite size) of a Union soldier and his wife in a double scroll/geometric Union case (Krainik 572). The soldier is posed standing with his musket and a revolver tucked in his belt.

Condition: All examples in very good or better condition unless otherwise noted. Cases display light to moderate wear.
