Description
Deluxe Colt Lightning Medium Frame Slide Action Rifle AKA CLMR (Colt Lightning Magazine Rifle).Serial no. 54029, .38 caliber, 26-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Nickel-plated finish. Upper tang peep sight. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and fore-end. Crescent metal buttplate. Manufactured in 1891.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 60-70% finish with noticeable areas of thinning, wear and pitting. Scattered dings, scuffs and bruising present to wood. Action crisp. Bright bore. Property from the James R. Glascock Collection.
