Cased Colt Re-Issue Third Model Dragoon.
Serial no. 30830, .44 caliber percussion, 7 ½-inch part round barrel with brass blade front sight. Top of barrel lug marked: ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW YORK CITY. Blued and case-hardened finish. Cylinder with very crisp roll stamped scene of Texas Rangers and Comanches. Cylinder ribands marked: COLT'S PATENT and MODEL U.S.M.R. Left side of frame with COLTS/PATENT. Brass straps and oil finished walnut grips. Contained in red velvet-lined hardwood case with partitions. Sold together with brass powder flask, steel and brass bullet mold, case-hardened capper and key.

Condition: Fine to excellent. Front sight with light tarnish. Revolver showing only scant handling wear. Retaining all of the original finish. Very crisp action. Bright bore. No signs of having been fired. Case with light scratches to lid.
