Description
Lot of Two Boxed Colt Blackpowder Series Reissue 1861 Navy Single Action Revolvers.Comprising: 1.) Serial no. 41537 [barrel, frame, triggerguard and cylinder] and 1537 [butt]. 2.) Serial no. 42879 [barrel, frame, triggerguard and cylinder] and 2879 [butt]. .36 calibers, 7 1/2-inch barrels with fixed front sights. Blued and case-hardened finishes. Etched cylinder scenes. COLTS / PATENT stamped to the left side of each frame. Smooth walnut one-piece grips. Each contained in a fitted factory pasteboard box with literature.
Condition: Very good to excellent. Overall each showing very light handling wear. Actions good. Strong bores. Signs of age and storage wear present to boxes. From the Collection of James Schubert.
