Description
Smith & Wesson New Model Number Three Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 20621(barrel,cylinder & butt), .44 Russian caliber, 5-inch barrel with pinned front sight. Barrel address with 7 patent dates including "RE-ISSUE." Nickel-plated finish. Cylinder is 1 7/16-inches long. Checkered hard rubber grips with S&W medallions. Right grip panel is scratch numbered to the gun on the inside.
Condition: Good to very good. Retaining traces of old nickel finish on frame and cylinder. The balance is a mostly smooth brown-gray patina. Some nicks/tool marks observed on barrel, barrel hinge and frame screws. Barrel has been shortened and front sight repositioned. Both grip panels with losses at butt. Action crisp. A little play in cylinder.
