John Ek No. 5 Commando knife.7-inch clipped point blade marked JOHN EK KNIFE / HAMDEN, CONN. Ricasso marked 5D235. Bolo grip of rock maple with six studs. Overall length: 12 1/2-inches.
Note: Photographed and described in the book, Allied Military Fighting Knives by Robert A. Buerlein, page 138, plate 210. Photocopy of book cover and featured page included in sale.
Condition: Very good to excellent as configured. Blade has been cleaned. Grip excellent.
