Description
Rogers and Spencer Army Model Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 4793 [barrel, frame, cylinder and butt], .44 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with frame notch rear sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and lever. Various B inspector marks. Top of frame marked: ROGERS & SPENCER / UTICA N.Y. Smooth walnut grip panels.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 10-20% finish, the balance a dark grey patina with noticeable areas of age, wear and pitting. Scattered scuffs and dings to wood, with some loss at corners. Front sight absent. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
