Revolutionary War 3-LB. Cannon Attributed to the Siege of Yorktown.

43-inch black painted barrel with 2 3/8-inch bore. Three stepped moldings and spherical cascabel. Mounted on an old Naval carriage with a 25-inch wheel base. Carriage measures 30-inches in length and 15 1/2-inches in height. Plaque featuring number 2227, which collates to an inventory number on a book page provided by the consignor. Lot comes along with auction information from a prior offering, dated June 10, 2013.

Condition: Good. Overall showing considerable age, wear and pitting.
