Description
Gemini 11 Flown Heat Shield Plug in Lucite Display. A section, 0.75" square x 1.75", sealed in a 3" diameter x 2.5" tall Lucite cylinder with "GEMINI XI/ SEPT. 12-15, 1966" engraved on the bottom. Crewmembers for this mission were Charles Conrad and Richard Gordon. Very fine with some light scratches. From the personal collection of Gemini Program Office special assistant and longtime NASA employee, Paul M. Sturtevant.Auction Info
