Description
U.S. H. Aston & Co. 1852 Percussion Pistol.Unserialized, .56 caliber, 8-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Lock marked: MIDDTN / CONN / 1852 and U.S. / H. ASTON & CO. top / left side of barrel marked: US / WN / P. Upper tang dated 1851. Smooth walnut stock with brass furniture. WN and WAJ cartouches to left side of stock. Swivel metal ramrod.
Condition: Good as polished. Showing scattered signs of handling wear and pitting. Some olive toning to brass. Scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action good. Pitted bore.
