Description
Apollo 11 Unflown Reverse "Specimen" Strike on Odd-Shaped Pewter (?) Disc Originally from the Personal Collection of Mission Command Module Pilot Michael Collins. This is a perfect strike of the reverse (no dates or serial number) of the Apollo 11 Robbins, though 2mm larger than the final version. It was struck as a sample to send to Collins and remained in his collection until sold at auction in 2004. The disc is approximately 45mm and not quite round.
