Inscribed to E.E. Johnston, Deputy Sheriff of Tombstone and Exhibited in the Hubbard Museum of the West.
Historic Harrington & Richardson Top Break Double Action
Revolver with Lawman's Hip Pocket Holster and Badge.Serial no. 748 [frame under grip], .32 caliber, 3 1/4-inch ribbed barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Nickel-plated finish. Butt inscribed: E.E. JOHNSTON. Case-hardened hammer and trigger. Floral carved hard rubber grip panels. Contained in unmarked leather holster with DEPUTY SHERIFF badge.
Note. E.E. Johnston was Deputy Sheriff in Tombstone, AZ from 1888-1900 and was Deputy County Attorney of Maricopa County. According to consignor notes, this gun was exhibited at the Hubbard Museum of the West and is pictured on page 200 of Gunsmoke and Saddle Leather by Charles G. Worman, 2005.

Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 60-70% finish with noticeable thinning to gripstraps, handling wear and patches of pitting. Minor scuffs present to grips. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
