Description

Small European Broadsword with Clamshell Pommel.

Approximately 42-inches overall with a 35-inch double edge blade with a double narrow fuller 10-inches from the hilt on each side of blade. Armorers mark near ricasso [half moon style]. Sword is 3/4-inches at its widest. Wrought iron hilt with clamshell pommel, guard and quillon ends. Wire grip. Condition: Good with age wear and heavy pitting throughout blade. Blade showing signs of cleaning. Showing an overall mottled gray presence on hilt. Surface rust present. Fine scratches present to metal.
