Unserialized, .44 caliber, 34-inch barrel with fixed front sight and adjustable rear ladder sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Smooth hardwood stock and fore-end. Two barrel bands and two sling swivels. Metal butt. 18-inch blade socket bayonet. Original brass museum inventory tag attached: J.M. DAVIS / 11427 and A11427 / MEMORIAL.
Sold to Benefit The JM Davis Collection at the JM Davis Arms and Historical Museum.

Condition: Very good. Finish a dark grey patina, with scattered signs of handling wear, age and patches of pitting. Heavy scuffs and dings present to wood. Action crisp. Pitted bore.
