Civil War: Pennsylvania "Draft Dodger" Broadsides.

1) 22" x 23" broadside titled "No. 1 Drafted Men of Northampton and Carbon Counties, Eleventh District of Pennsylvania, Who Deserted or Failed to Report." Printed by Lewis Gordon of Easton. There are many immigrants from Ireland, Germany and England listed. A $30 reward was offered for their apprehension. 2) 22.25" x 30.5" broadside, similarly titled, but "No. 2" in the series., covering Monroe, Pike and Wayne counties. Stamp of New-York Historical Society dated June 24, 1865." Both broadsides issued December 1, 1863.

Condition: #1 scattered areas of minor loss, separated at folds, but judiciously reattached using archival tape. #2 minor loss right border, archival tape repairs on verso to some border tears.
