Civil War or G.A.R. Era Union Slouch Hat.Blue/black felt with infantry hat cord. 3-inch wide brim. Russet brown sweatband marked "Columbia". Maker's tag marked "Moore Smith Co. Boston" and size 7 1/8. The hat may be associated with G.A.R. activities in the post-war period.
Condition: Very good.
