Superb Colt Bisley Model Single Action Revolver.
Serial no. 301213 [frame, triggerguard and butt], 7 1/2-inch barrel, 44-40 caliber. Blued finish with case-hardened frame and hammer. Standard Hartford top of barrel address. Left side of barrel marked (BISLEY MODEL) / COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER. Two-line patent dates with Rampant Colt on the left side of frame. Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt embossed. "Colt Bisley revolvers were manufactured between 1894 and 1915 with a total production of approximately 44,350" according to
Flayderman's. This particular gun was made in 1907.

Condition: Excellent to mint and 100% original. Retaining approximately 97-98% plus bright original case colors and blue with the slightest handling to the cylinder, blemish under Frontier marking and the loading gate. One small scratch near frontstrap area. Grips excellent and matching. Action and bore excellent. One of the best Colt Bisley revolvers ever offered for sale at Heritage Auctions.
