Description
CW Brazilian Light Minie Ohio Percussion Rifle.Unserialized, .58 caliber, 32-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear folding ladder sight. Blued finish. Lock marked: D (anchor) C. Bayonet lug. Smooth walnut straight stock with sling swivels. D (anchor) C and OHIO stamped to top of wrist. Brass triggerguard and buttplate.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear, age and patches of pitting. Noticeable dings and scuffs present to wood. Large crack at wrist. Ramrod absent. Action good. Pitted bore.
