Signed European Cup Hilt Rapier.

Approximately 50-inches overall with a 41-inch double edge blade with a single narrow fuller 8-inches from the hilt on each blade, the fuller marked FRANCISCO on one side / IN SOLINGEN obverse. Sword is 2/3-inches at its widest. Wrought iron cup with pierced designs and a simple raised and folded border design to edge [diameter 5 1/4-inches]. Wood grip [wire missing] with simple pommel cap. Straight quillons with simple ends. Condition: Good with age wear and pitting throughout blade. Blade a bit wavy and showing signs of cleaning. Showing an overall mottled gray patina on blade and hilt. Surface rust to areas including protected areas on cup. Fine scratches present to metal. Crude metal and some pitting inside hilt. Sword a bit lose.
