Description

Japanese WWII NCO Sword. 29 1/4-inch slightly curved blade with single narrow fuller and tempered edge. Ricasso marked: Tokyo Japan. Standard pattern guard, pierced with chrysanthemums. Single bar knucklebow. Wire-wrapped ribbed grip. Metal back edge on grip with mum motif. Frayed black wool knot. Contained in original nickel-plated steel scabbard with ring mounts.

Condition: Fair. Showing age wear and patina. Scabbard with crack on one side and heavy wear overall.
