Japanese Hantanto Gunto Military Sword c. 1941-45. Japanese Hantanto Gunto Military Sword with Army Mounts c. 1941-4523-inch wavy [notare] straight [suguha] combination blade. Oo-maru [big round] tempering around tip. Ikko mekugi-ana [peg hole]. Keshou [cosmetic] yasuri-me [file markings] with multiple lines. Tang with inscription: Mae kawa kane tsugu saku kore. Riku-gunso [Army mount]. Made in 1943.Condition: Good to very good with scattered wear and patina.
