Description

George Washington: Silver Plated Snuffbox and Coin Silver Egg Spoons, c.1860. The oval snuffbox measures 3.25" x 2" and pictures the gate and entrance to the Tomb of George Washington at Mount Vernon. The side has the patent date, January 24, 1860. The two coin silver spoons measure 4" long and were made by Newell Harding. Each spoon has a medallion with Washington and below, a bright-cut design and the engraved letter "G".
