Description
John F. Kennedy: 1937 Harvard Freshman Year Book. Copy of "The Harvard Freshman Red Book 1940", published in 1937 for the Class of 1940. 8" x 10.75", 263 pages, bound in deep maroon pebbled leather with gilt-stamped name "Arthur T. Hamlin" on the cover. JFK was a freshman in 1937. His picture appears in three locations - on the top of page 94, on page 195 posed with the "Smoker Committee" and on page 228 posed with the swimming team. The front fly leaf has the inscribed names of three previous owners, including Hamlin (Class of 1934 and Proctor 1936-1937), Francis C. Coombs and Dr. John Lattimer. Excellent condition.Auction Info
