George Washington: Columbian Phenix and Funeral Orations. This lot includes a bound volume of a very rare and short-lived magazine, "The Columbian Phenix and Boston Review". It only lasted seven months. We offer Volume 1 Number 1 (January 1800) along with the April and May issues, all bound together. Included within its pages are Henry Lee's Funeral Oration for Washington, John Adams' State of the Union Address and other GW-related items. It is sold together with a 304-page book titled "Eulogies and Orations on the Life and Death of George Washington" printed by Manning & Loring of Boston in 1800 (reattached covers).Auction Info
