Description
George McClellan: Rare Democratic Club Ribbon. 2 1/4" x 7" blush-pink or rose-colored silk ribbon issued by the "Schuyler Co. Central Democratic M'Clellan Club". It has the standard woodcut portrait of Little Mac and the slogan "The Union and the Constitution." We assume it was issued in Pennsylvania. There is some discoloration and a small hole near the top. The ribbon has a horizontal separation in the middle which was repaired at one time using a minimal amount of glue and is currently holding together well, all in one piece. McClellan ribbons are all rare. This is an example we have never seen before.Auction Info
