William Henry Harrison: Silk Campaign Flag. "Gen. Wm. H. Harrison The Hero of Tippecanoe" appears on this 29" x 28" silk flag listed in "Threads" as #135. It printed in blue, brown, yellow-gold, and rust red. Examples of this popular campaign item often come quite faded. The colors on this example are bold and the portrait appears pretty much as-made. There are some small holes in the background, not affecting the design, as well as some staining on the left. Considering its age and delicate material, it is a very fine example and above average in all respects.Auction Info
