Description
Buchanan & Breckinridge: Under-Over Jugate Ribbon. 2 1/4" x 6 3/4" rose silk ribbon with portraits of the 1856 Democratic candidates. It is inscribed: "For President, James Buchanan, of Pennsylvania. Vice President, Jno. C. Breckinridge." There is a small pull above Buchanan's name, backed on the verso with a small strip of tape, plus a very minor pull in Breckinridge's necktie. Overall, it is a very nice specimen. Jugate ribbons for Buck & Breck are tough!!Auction Info
