Minor toning to the first half of the text. Binding worn. Hinges reinforced. Some offsetting to preliminary pages. Pencil notations to title page. Housed in a custom maroon cloth clamshell case with gilt titles. Overall, a very good copy of a fascinating volume containing all the laws and constitutions of the Cherokees from 1808 through 1851.
