Five emblematic intertextual woodcut vignettes, an intertextual woodcut vignette of God creating Paradise on A1r and of Jonah and the whale on Q2v, and 15 full-page intertextual woodcuts of Old Testament prophets (Noah on A3r, Jacob on C3r, Aaron on D1r, Samuel on H7v, David on K7r, Solomon on M8r, Elias on O5v, Elizeus o on P5v, Zaccarias on P8r, Giona on Q1v, Naun on Q4r, Isaiah on Q7r, Jeremiah on R1v, Ezekiel on R2v, and Daniel on R6r). Bound without leaf Q3. Full dark brown calf, smooth spine ruled and lettered in gilt, which has mellowed to grey. Printed adhesive bookplate affixed to front pastedown. Title-page mounted; a small repair to the outer edge of R1. Foxed, toned, and soiled throughout. A few light waterstains. Significant worming, especially to the contents, but also to margins of the last section of the textblock, resulting in tears in a few instances.
