F. Scott Fitzgerald. The Great Gatsby. New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1925.First edition, first issue. Octavo. 218 pages.
Publisher's green cloth over boards. Stamped in blind on the front board and in gilt on the spine. Binding slightly leaning. Rubbing and very light wear at a couple corners. Front free endpaper excised. Small blemish to verso of half-title at the bottom near the gutter, and some foxing along the gutter between the title and adjacent verso. Small ink checkmark on title, and light thumb-soiling in places. Overall, an attractive copy in very good condition.
